Hollywood Rush in support of the Baby Dragon Fund

Hollywood Rush in Support of the Baby Dragon Fund

The second annual Hollywood Rush, a theatrical performance produced in just 24 hours by prominent actors, writers and directors and hosted by entertainer Lance Bass and E’s style guru George Kotsiopoulos, successfully took place recently at the historic Wilshire Ebell Theatre. The production benefits the Baby Dragon Fund, which fuels the LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s programs for youth, mental health, and crystal meth recovery and prevention.
It was an intimate evening featuring edgy comical performances that were quite memorable thanks to a talented cast of 40 individuals including Emmanuelle Chriqui, David Krumholtz, Madeline Zima, Gillian Zinser, Trevor Donovan, Jodie Sweetin, and several others who wrote, rehearsed and performed the gut wrenching skits all within the same day.

The event also celebrates the life of Hunter Allen, whom the fund was founded in honor of by sister, actress, and Co-executive-producer Zibby Allen. Also, additional funds were raised during the show thanks to Mobile Cause, which allowed audience members to make text donations that totaled over $15,000.
The evening ended with an intimate Wrap Party held in the Ebell Club, adjacent to the theatrical hall, where patrons celebrated the night’s success with the writers, actors and directors to the groove of a lively DJ set while enjoying scrumptious hors oeuvre’s and refreshing cocktails.
